Lumin Soft , in collaboration with Azimut investments-Egypt ازيموت للاستثمارات-مصر , has gained the approval to commence Live Testing under the FRA Sandbox, becoming the second solution approved to enter the Live Testing phase within the FRA Regulatory Sandbox.

The approved solution introduces a secure digital identity verification process for foreign nationals using NFC-enabled electronic passports (ePassports). By enabling instant verification of digital identities, the solution streamlines the customer onboarding process, reduces reliance on physical documentation, and facilitates secure access to a wide range of non-banking financial services through a seamless digital experience.

The solution will now be tested within the FRA Sandbox's regulatory-controlled testing environment, allowing it to operate under real market conditions while remaining subject to regulatory oversight. The Live Testing phase has been approved for an initial period of three months.

Expected Sandbox Exit Date: 27 October 2026.

With another solution entering the Live Testing phase, the FRA Sandbox continues to bridge innovation and regulation, providing a trusted environment where transformative solutions can be tested and refined .
