Allianz Egypt , in collaboration with Olimi AI, has received initial approval from the Financial Regulatory Authority FRA to join the FRA Sandbox with its Voice Agent & Chatbot Platform.

The project introduces an AI-powered Voice Agent & Chatbot Platform that leverages conversational AI to automate real-time customer interactions across voice and WhatsApp. Integrating AI voice agents and chatbots with a unified knowledge base, the platform delivers a seamless omnichannel customer experience. Powered by AI, NLP, and RegTech, the solution supports Arabic conversational AI, automates end-to-end customer interactions, and enhances governance, auditability, and regulatory compliance, improving operational efficiency, reducing response times, and enabling scalability.

Highlighting the significance of the project, H.E. Dr. Islam Abdel Azim Azzam , Chairman of the FRA, emphasized the Authority's continued institutional and technical support for innovative technological solutions that contribute to the development of non-banking financial activities through a flexible regulatory environment that keeps pace with global developments in fintech and artificial intelligence, while maintaining the safety and stability of financial markets and protecting consumers' rights.

Eng. Ahmed Khalifa, Executive Director of the FRA Sandbox, noted that this initial approval brings the total number of projects accepted into the Sandbox to seven within its first year, reflecting the Authority's commitment to fostering innovation and providing a safe environment for testing innovative financial solutions.

Commenting on the initial approval, Mr. Ahmed Lotfy , Managing Director of Allianz Insurance Company – Egypt, highlighted the company's commitment to digital transformation and enhancing customer experience.

Mr. Hazem Sorour , CEO of Olimi AI, emphasized that the partnership leverages AI-powered voice technologies to modernize insurance services through intelligent customer interactions.
