GIG Egypt has gained the approval to commence Live Testing under FRA Sandbox, marking a significant milestone in its innovation journey and becoming the first solution approved to enter the Live Testing phase within the FRA Regulatory Sandbox.

The approved solution enables Remote Inspection and Damage Assessment for Motor Comprehensive Insurance, introducing a technology-driven approach to remote vehicle inspection and digital damage assessment, supporting faster claims handling, enhanced operational efficiency, and improved customer experience in Egypt's insurance sector.

The solution will now be tested within the FRA Sandbox's regulatory-controlled testing environment, allowing it to operate under real market conditions while remaining subject to regulatory oversight. The Live Testing phase has been approved for three months.

Expected Sandbox Exit Date: 12 October 2026.

As the first solution to enter the Live Testing phase, this milestone highlights the FRA Sandbox's commitment to transforming innovative ideas into market-ready solutions, driving digital transformation and strengthening Egypt's non-banking financial services sector.
