As part of our participation in Techne Summit 2026 as a Co-Track Partner of the NBFS Track, we continued the conversation on financial innovation with a panel exploring the future of blockchain and tokenization in Egypt’s financial ecosystem.

Unlocking the Future of Digital Assets: Tokenization

FRA Sandbox hosted a panel presenting the future of blockchain and tokenization in Egypt’s financial ecosystem, highlighting the joint project between Tarmiiz, represented by Amr Soliman,Chairman, and Seif El Kilany, CEO, and GRANITE Financial Holding, represented by Hisham Akram,CEO, and Mahmoud Abdel-Fattah Moursy, CTO, which received initial approval to join the FRA Sandbox with an innovative concept: Real World Asset Tokenization of a Regulated Money Market Fund.

Mohamed Hemdan Elhelow, Head of Digital Transformation,MCDR - Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry, also shared MCDR’s perspective on the future of blockchain and tokenization and their potential impact on Egypt’s financial market.

The discussion explored how tokenization can enhance efficiency, transparency, and investor experience while complementing traditional financial mechanisms and enabling new solutions in Egypt.

The panel was moderated by Marian Boshra, Senior Business Development Specialist, FRA Sandbox, who shared the Sandbox’s perspective on the project and its role in supporting innovation.
