From Private Scale to Public Markets: A Milestone for Egypt’s FinTech Ecosystem

The FRA Sandbox congratulates MNT-Halan on its transition to the public market, marking an important milestone for Egypt’s financial technology ecosystem and the journey of high-growth companies toward capital markets.

Following the AT50 Index Cairo Market Open, which brought together key stakeholders to explore pathways connecting Africa’s leading private companies with institutional capital and public markets, this milestone reflects the importance of building these pathways well before companies reach the IPO stage.

The journey from innovation to public markets requires more than growth. It calls for institutional readiness, strong governance, transparency, and effective engagement with capital market stakeholders.

Through initiatives such as the AT50 Index Cairo Market Open, the FRA Sandbox represented by Eng. Ahmed Khalifa and Farah AbdelKader, in collaboration with Plug and Play and Indexa Exchange Group, contributes to fostering dialogue and creating opportunities that connect innovative, high-growth companies with the broader investment ecosystem.
