October: Cybersecurity Awareness Month!

Throughout Cybersecurity Awareness Month, the Financial Regulatory Authority FRA Sandbox, in collaboration with Liquid C2 has been actively driving awareness and capacity-building across Egypt’s cybersecurity landscape — through a series of exclusive events and hands-on sessions designed to empower the ecosystem.

We kicked off with the Secure Coding Workshop — a two-day, practical program tailored for back-end developers, helping participants integrate security at every stage of the software development lifecycle. Led by Andrew Emil , Red Team Manager at Liquid C2, and supported by Eng. Ahmed Khalifa ,Executive Director of FRA Sandbox, and Eng. Sherif Yehia, Deputy Assistant to the FRA Chairman, this session set the tone for secure-by-design innovation.

Then came our CISO Breakfast on Quantum Computing & The Future of Security — a high-level discussion led by Sherif Shaltout Regional Manager, Liquid C2 MENA, and Hadir Labib ,Blue Team Manager, Liquid C2 MENA, joined by Eng. Ahmed Khalifa. Together, cybersecurity leaders explored how the quantum era will redefine encryption, crypto-agility, and digital trust.

The FRA Sandbox together with Liquid C2 will be hosting more events, workshops, seminars, and webinars to build stronger digital resilience across Egypt’s non-banking financial sector.
