FRA Sandbox at Techne Summit 2026: Exploring Egypt’s Financial Regulatory Framework

As a Co-Track Partner of the Non-Banking Financial Services (NBFS) Track, FRA Sandbox participated in Techne Summit 2026, contributing to discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions, the FRA took part in a workshop discussing the legislative and regulatory framework governing Egypt’s financial markets and non-banking financial sector.

The workshop featured representatives of the FRA’s leadership Mr. Mahmoud Gebril, Assistant to the Chairman of the FRA; Mr. Hatem Nour, Deputy Assistant to the Chairman of the Financial Regulatory Authority FRA and Ms. Sally George, chairman associate and deputy head of central department of corporate finance to the Chairman of the FRA, we were also honored to welcome Mr. Omar Radwan, Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange - EGX, as our distinguished guest.


The discussion explored key legislation, regulatory decisions, and frameworks shaping financial market activities, highlighting the importance of regulatory clarity and awareness in supporting market development and fostering financial innovation in Egypt.
