We were honored to have Mr. Mohamed Abdelhamied — Vice Chairman, Financial Regulatory Authority FRA, witness the signing of the MoU.

The MoU was signed by Eng Ahmed Khalifa – Executive Director, Regulatory Sandbox at the FRA Sandbox and Chief Data Officer at Financial Regulatory Authority FRA and Mohamed Ehab Hafez – CEO Entlaq .

This partnership will enable us to work closely together to:

✔️ Develop and promote greater regulatory awareness and clarity for FinTech startups, entrepreneurs, and investors in Egypt.

✔️ Support the development and launch of the Egypt FinTech Report 2026, providing data-driven insights into the FinTech ecosystem and contributing to informed regulatory and policy development.

✔️ Establish structured cross-sector FinTech dialogue through regular roundtables that bring together FinTech startups, financial institutions, industry experts, and regulators to identify market challenges, opportunities, and regulatory gaps.

✔️ Support the international expansion of Egypt’s FinTech ecosystem by attracting international FinTech startups to the Egyptian market, facilitating their market-entry journey, and positioning Egypt as a gateway to Africa and the Arab world.
