Today, we spotlight our MoU partner: Startup Egypt
We were honored to have Mr. Mohamed Abdelhamied , Vice Chairman , Financial Regulatory Authority FRA , witness the signing of the MoU.

The MoU was signed by Eng. Ahmed Khalifa –Executive Director of Regulatory Sandbox and Chief Data Officer at the FRA Sandbox and Eng. Ayman Bazaraa – Vice Chairperson of the Board of Trustees at Startup.

This partnership will enable us to work closely together to:

✔️ Establish and develop the FRA Sandbox FinTech Market Platform, connecting the FinTech ecosystem and creating greater opportunities for collaboration, networking, and digital matchmaking.

✔️ Integrate the platform with Startup Egypt’s existing digital ecosystem to provide an interactive map connecting FinTech startups, innovation support organizations, angel investor networks, and venture capital funds.

✔️ Empower university students through awareness and innovation programs that encourage them to explore FinTech and transform their ideas and graduation projects into innovative solutions.

✔️ Build a stronger entrepreneurial community through awareness sessions, community events, and initiatives that foster meaningful connections and knowledge exchange among entrepreneurs and startups.

✔️ Support startups through sourcing, assessment, and investment matchmaking, connecting promising and regulatory-ready FinTech startups with investors and venture capital funds.

✔️ Organize hackathons and open innovation challenges addressing market needs and emerging opportunities across the non-banking financial sector, while providing startups with regulatory guidance and opportunities to engage with the FRA Sandbox.

Through this strategic partnership, we look forward to building a more connected FinTech ecosystem, empowering startups and innovators, and creating new pathways for collaboration, investment, and regulatory innovation.
